Typography Exploration
This poster was created for the Santa Fe College-Graphic Design Technology's student exhibition, centered around the theme of "Audacity" and what it means to create.
My interpretation of the theme reflects the boldness and unrelenting drive that comes from a deep hunger for creativity. I play with typography and Photography to express these ideas, inpired by the works of Graphic Designer David Carson.
Process Process Process (and re-process)
Paper handling was an important factor in the creation, as well as multiple forms of image processing. Graphics were photographed, printed, scanned, processed and reprocessed multiple times, creating this distortion of the material that can only be achieved through physical manipulation.

The result is a multi-layered and textural composition with clippings from multiple different pieces.
The I took MANY pictures of the inside of my mouth. This was in part to add to the performance art portion of this poster, because I am in a sense exposing myself and showing vulnerability even though I am quite literally “baring my teeth”
